New Vande Bharat Express will run from these 2 cities to Delhi, route will be announced soon
Vande Bharat Express: Railway officials say that the operation of Vande Bharat will save five to six hours of time in traveling from Muzaffarpur to Delhi. At present, the superfast train takes about 18 hours.

Vande Bharat Express Train: Railway Board can start operating Vande Bharat Train anytime after June 15 from Muzaffarpur and Jaynagar stations of East Central Railway. An official notification regarding this can be issued soon. At present, efforts are underway to increase the track speed to 130 km. It is expected to be completed by the end of May. The ongoing track repair work to increase the speed is also about to be completed.
Apart from Vande Bharat, Amrit Bharat Express and Vande Bharat (sleeper version) will also operate from Poomre jurisdiction. A senior railway official said that preparations are being made to operate Vande Bharat from Muzaffarpur to Delhi, Jaynagar to Delhi via Muzaffarpur. Apart from this, one train each will operate from Vande Bharat to Saharsa-Howrah, Vande Bharat from Patna to New Delhi (sleeper version), Darbhanga to Delhi, and one Amrit Bharat train from Raxaul to Delhi. At present, Amrit Bharat is operating from Delhi via Darbhanga via Sitamarhi.


Railway officials say that the operation of Vande Bharat will save five to six hours of time in traveling from Muzaffarpur to Delhi. At present, the superfast train takes about 18 hours. It will take 12 to 13 hours from Vande Bharat. However, there will be a difference of more than one and a half times in the fare.


From public representatives to business organizations have sent letters to the Railway Board and the Railway Minister for the Vande Bharat train from Muzaffarpur. Railways is immediately going to run one Vande Bharat Express each from Muzaffarpur and Jaynagar and one Amrit Bharat Express from Muzaffarpur to Howrah.
